TERMS USED
Shell or Hollow Back: = Are the most common charm - embellishment,
these are pressed out of a thin sheet of brass. Making what looks like a jelly
mould. these are ideal for making castings in clay, resin and paper mache.
FB: = Flat Backed either plain or impressed with image.
Cast: = An 3d casting shape solid.
WR: = with a ring or loop.
2WR: = with 2 rings or loops.etc:
WP: = with hole.
2W/P: = with 2 holes. etc:
Wave: = as a wave to the shape
Dap: = has an dap effect
NR: = no ring/loop.
NP: = no hole.
EP: = ideal for embossing / enamel or to use epoxy
MM: = millimetres
Gross: = 144 pieces
1/2 Gross: = 72 pieces
DOZ: = 12 pieces
BRASS: = Raw untreated brass it is recommended to clean - polish and
seal with lacquer if it is to be handled a lot.
Plated: = electro plating of a thin layer of metal on to the base
(brass) metal
All charms - embellishments - filigree - findings we sell are lead free.
Please note: while being safe to use these are not recommended for
young children due to possible chocking hazard, metal may have shape edges.
